Our second trip to the art gallery

We went to the art gallery last week to get some ideas for our pastel unit this term. We first had to observe a tree outside and do a quick drawing of it then we went inside and looked at some fantastic paintings of different trees. Some of the artists were using their imaginations which the clever kiwis loved! We then got to have a go at drawing our own trees with pastel, most of us used our imagnations to draw our trees and we also had to draw something hiding behind our tree. If you would like to come and see these they are now up in our classroom :)
